YSBC opens a research study opportunity with USIM (University of Islamic Science Malaysia) specifically for Cluster 3, the Customization Islamic Microfinance Product & Services. Given the expertise that USIM has, it will be helpful in finding an approach to bridging the income gap for the B20.
YSBC has visited USIM on 10th July 2019 to provide information on the research cluster.
USIM has submitted a research proposal cluster 3 and also briefed the AIU which comprising of Acting VC and the AIU Registrar on 26th August 2019 at the YSBC-SEDI Meeting Room.
In the discussion, there are a few things that need to be improved and some clarifications are needed and USIM will update the matter and will submit the proposal again before 31st August 2019.
On 17th October 2019, the YSBC convened a final discussion on the cluster to be carry out by USIM and the role that USIM should play in the customization of “Musyarakah” finance for the B20 group.
